Meet the 2024-25 DGH Research Assistants, Fellows, and Awardees

Each year the University of Washington's (UW) Department of Global Health is able to provide partial to full funding to recruit top applicants. In addition to financial support, some recipients also receive mentorship and real-world experience through research assistant positions. For the 2024-25 academic year, 19 outstanding graduate students received funding to support their studies, 15 of whom are highlighted here. DGH faculty, staff, and students are being recognized and honored dedication to service, community impact, mentorship, leadership, the UW student experience, academic performance, and distinguished achievements in one’s field of study.

2 Global Health Students Make the 2023 Husky 100

This year’s Husky 100 awards have recognized two students within the Department of Global Health (DGH) for making the most of their time at the University of Washington. These students truly exemplify the Husky experience, applying what they learn to make a difference inside the classroom, in our communities and beyond.

This year’s annual Husky 100 awards have recognized 5 students within the Department of Global Health for making the most of their time at the University of Washington. These students actively connect what happens inside and outside of the classroom and apply what they learn to make a difference on campus, in their communities and for the future.
