The 2025 DGH Graduation Celebration will honor graduates in the following programs:
- Master of Public Health
- Doctor of Global Health Leadership and Practice
- Pathobiology PhD
- Global Health Metrics & Implementation Science PhD
Location: Kane Hall, Room 120 | UW Seattle Campus | 4069 Spokane Ln NE, Seattle, WA 98105
Attention faculty: As in past years, seating will be available in the front of the auditorium for faculty. Regalia is encouraged but not required.
Program Information

Attire
Graduates are encouraged to dress in a manner they feel fits the occasion. Most students choose to wear either a cap and gown (regalia), clothing with personal or cultural significance, or simply a nice outfit.
Seating
There will be open seating for guests in Kane 120— no tickets are required for entry. Families and children are welcome.

Transportation
Please keep in mind that on-campus parking is extremely limited - we strongly encourage graduates and guests to utilize public transportation and ride share services.
Light Rail
- The U District Link Light Rail Station is the closest station to Kane Hall. The approximate walking time from the U District Light Rail Station to Kane Hall is 10 minutes.
- The University of Washington Link Light Rail Station is the next closest station to Kane Hall. The approximate walking time from the University of Washington Light Rail Station to Kane Hall is 15 minutes.
- The train arrives every 8-10 minutes, and the schedule can be found on the SoundTransit Routes and Schedules page.
- Riders may use the SoundTransit website to plan their trip.
- One-way fares range from $1.00 to $3.00. More information can be found on the SoundTransit How to Pay page.
Bus
- There are more than 60 bus routes serving the University District, with several coming onto campus.
- The UW has put together a list of key bus routes serving the UW Campus to help riders plan their trip.
- Using King County's Trip Planner, input Kane Hall (4069 SPOKANE LN NE, Seattle) as your destination to find the best transportation options based on your location.

Ride Share
Riders may provide the following address to their driver to be dropped off at the roundabout in front of Parrington Hall, a short walk from Kane Hall: 4105 George Washington Lane Northeast, Seattle, WA 98105
Parking
Campus parking for all graduation events, including department events, will require a parking permit. Visit the Commencement Day Parking page for information on pre-purchasing parking permits, prices, and available lots.
We recommend parking in Central Plaza Garage, as it is the closest option for on-campus parking and Kane Hall can be accessed directly from the parking garage on levels C1, C3, and C5. Look for the Kane Hall signage and corridor in the northeast corner of the garage.
To park off-campus, please plan to arrive early as parking can be difficult to find around the UW Campus.
