Student Leaders Encouraging Integration in Global Health

SLEIGH (Student Leaders Encouraging Integration in Global Health) is a student-led organization within the Department of Global Health that plans events to encourage collaboration and awareness of student, faculty, and alumni ongoing research. Members include representatives from each of the four tracks within the DGH (Pathobiology, Implementation Science, Metrics, and Global Health MPH) to promote the integration of perspectives to tackle a wide range of public health challenges.

We plan events to facilitate collaboration within the DGH, past events have included the Integrated Research Symposium on Maternal Health and Research-in-Progress seminars, events showcase both faculty and student work. Look out for our next symposium in Fall 2020, which will include keynote speakers and breakout sessions to discuss proposals to problems brought up in the talks.
