Currently serving as the APSS Operations Specialist, Jon Terpak plays a key role in curriculum and operations management, ensuring the smooth coordination of academic programs and student services. His responsibilities include managing quarterly course scheduling, overseeing program audits and accreditation reporting, and handling student and faculty inquiries. He also provides logistical support for student events, maintains internal department records, and streamlines administrative processes to enhance program efficiency. Prior to this role, Jon worked in the UW Medicine Chief Medical Office, where he supported executive operations and administrative functions. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus on Economics and Finance, along with a minor in American Government and Psychiatry, from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. Jon is also a pre-certified Deaf Interpreter and the founder of a nonprofit organization that mentors Deaf professionals in healthcare.

Outside of work, Jon shares his life with his wife of three years and their two beloved dogs. A passionate sports fan, he enjoys watching women’s and men’s soccer and the Seattle Kraken. In his free time, he loves experimenting with cooking, exploring different cuisines, reading, and playing video games. Coming from a proud Deaf family, Jon’s strong work ethic and dedication to fostering community engagement are evident in both his professional and personal life.
