MSW, MPH, EdD, Senior Lecturer, Emeritus, officially retired but active as a DGH faculty advisor. She serves as a fieldwork supervisor for DGH practicum students.  She sits on the Inter Professional Education Committee for the School of Public Health, as well as on the DGH Admissions Committee, and Thomas Francis Global Health Fellowship Committee. Her research interest are in the area of HIV AIDS prevention. Other interest includes training health care providers working on prevention of Mother to child Transmission of HIV/AIDS, and HIV AIDS prevention with LGBT populations. Her work on Prevention of Mother To Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS activities took place in Ethiopia, Mozambique, Namibia, Kenya, and the Caribbean. She served as the Technical Specialist for the University of Washington and University of Namibia (UNAM) Twinning Project, a  five-year cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to work with UNAM faculty to support the graduate program in public health. She has also worked on Prevention of Mother To Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS activities in Ethiopia, Mozambique, Namibia, Kenya, and the Caribbean.
