The Washington Global Health Alliance, along with PATH, the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations (GAVI), the UN Foundation’s Nothing But Nets campaign, World Vision, International Medical Corps, the Institute for Health Metrics & Evaluation at UW, the Global Health Council and the Global Health Technologies Coalition created “Global Health Week on the Hill” Feb. 26-March 5, 2013, o highlight the critical role U.S. foreign assistance plays in health, security and diplomatic efforts worldwide. The groups are showcasing the Global Health Experience, which was on display in Seattle during Global Health Month in the summer of 2012, and they are meeting with members of Congress.
