Evaluation of the Coptic Hospital / University of Washington Collaborative HIV-1 Care Program - Kenya

We aim to: (1) Describe population characteristics, enrollment trends, and follow-up at large and growing HIV Treatment Clinics (2)Determine the impact of programmatic service delivery and specific aspects of HIV care in resource poor settings on patient outcomes including morbidity, mortality, disease progression, response to treatment, treatment side-effects, uptake of services, retention, satisfaction with care, adherence to treatment and other socio-behavioral outcomes related to HIV (3)Describe the etiology of HIV disease progression, interaction between HIV and other co-pathogens, and determinants of physical and cognitive well-being among individuals receiving HIV care and treatment at  three HIV treatment clinics in Kenya
