This Mentored International Investigator proposal leverages the ongoing prospective cohort study on assisted partner services among people who inject drugs in Kenya and their sexual and injecting partners (R01 DA043409; MPI, Carey Farquhar/Joshua Herbeck). The goal is to evaluate the reach, adoption, implementation and maintenance of aPS in this population, and estimated the cost and budget impact of scaling up nationwide. Funding is provided through a CFAR Mentored International Investigator Award through 2024 in Kenya. Primary collaborators include the Ministry of Health-National AIDS and STI Control Program, UW, Kenyatta National Hospital, Kenya Medical Research Institute.
