Improving access to rural health through digital health technologies
The Jio Centre for Digital Health Technologies in partnership with Jio Health Hub/Reliance Foundation and PHFI-Gurgaon. The objectives of the Jio Centre for DHT will be to:
1. Improve access to health services for people in 1.25 lac villages in India, serving 15-20 core population by Asha/trained workers of this project to take pulse oximeter, BP, blood glucose, digitalize health data using Swasthya Sahayak, and do internet referrals to government and private clinics based on presumptive diagnosis.
2. Pursue R&D to develop futuristic health technologies.
3. Link the Jio Centre in partnership with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare through Ayushman program of National Health Authority and 1 lac Digital Villages under the umbrella of CSC of MOIT. Funding being negotiated with Reliance Foundation CSR.
