Changes in the vaginal microbiome after use of DMPA

Women who use DMPA for contraception are at higher risk of HIV acquisition. Using PCR we will analyze vaginal swab samples collected pre and post-DMPA and map changes in vaginal species and species diversity among women who use DMPA.
