Biography 

Tanya Wunderlich, BA (she/her) is a Program Assistant within the Department of Global Health (DGH) supporting training programs including the International Aids Research and Training Program, Kenya Research and Training Center and other Fogarty-funded initiatives. She supports international trainees in Seattle and abroad and is a Site Coordinator for multiple eDGH sites. Prior to her work at the DGH, she worked for Pilgrim Africa, a Seattle non-profit that focuses on operational research, policy making, and implementation of best practices to eliminate malaria transmission in Uganda. While receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications at Seattle University, she had the opportunity to study abroad in Nicaragua for her Spanish minor, igniting her passion to work with international communities and support sustainable development programs in low-and-middle-income countries.
