Jodi Byers is a Research Scientist for Center for AIDS Research. She earned her MS in Statistics and a BA in Mathematics, Economics, and Political Science, both from Indiana University. Most recently, she has worked as a statistician in Disability Determination for the State of Arkansas and the Social Security Administration analyzing trends in disability claims. Prior to coming to the University of Washington, she spent time working at the Biostatistics Consulting Center at Indiana University on public health research projects including substance use and education, nutrition, and community food systems. She is originally from Solsberry, Indiana and moved to Seattle in the spring of 2022. Outside of the office, Jodi enjoys riding her bike, listening to live music, and visiting museums.
