Emily Yoshioka is a Research Coordinator on the Gut Health and Child Survival team at Global WACh. She holds a BA in public health and ethnic studies and an MPH focused on health behavior from Brown University. During her undergraduate and MPH programs, Emily worked on a variety of research projects related to HIV and sexual health among diverse populations, including HIV prevention and women's sexual agency in the Philippines and PrEP acceptability for adolescents in South Africa. She also worked on US-based research projects focused on health equity from an intersectional perspective. In her free time, Emily loves to listen to music, cook and eat with friends, run, and travel.
