- Data Quality Manager, Global WACh
Emily Pearman, MPH, is working as a Data Quality Manager on the DeWorm3 data team with a focus on data quality control and quality assurance. Emily received her MPH from UC Berkeley where she focused on global health, infectious diseases and epidemiology. Emily’s professional experience is mainly in academic research settings where she has worked on data for several different research projects. The projects she has worked on vary in scope from describing the molecular characteristics of urinary tract infections in Brazil to HIV prevention in Togo through a mobile health application, and most recently, she worked as a data manager for a large global prostate cancer database. Emily enjoys working with data and collaborating with stakeholders globally to bring about reproducible and valid research results that can inform public health policy.
