David Citrin, PhD, MPH is an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Departments of Global Health and Anthropology, and an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor for the Arnhold Institute for Global Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Citrin also serves as a Senior Research Collaborator with Medic and an Implementation Research Advisor for Possible. Over the past fifteen-plus years, his work has focused on the ethics of global health and global health partnerships; designing digital tools and health information systems for care coordination and M&E; and mixed methods implementation research to strengthen public sector healthcare systems. Dr. Citrin has taught a range of classes at UW, including Labor, Identity & Knowledge in Healthcare; Health & Development in the Himalaya; Comparative Systems of Healing; and Multidisciplinary Perspectives in Global Health. He also served as the founding co-Director of the South Asia Center's Nepal Studies Initiative in the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies. Dr. Citrin's work has been published in various journals such as Global Health Action, Medicine Anthropology Theory, and Healthcare: The Journal of Delivery Science and Innovation.
